Nine catalogs named a blend's spine with two or more terms across the rows for the spine commands and the Replace Spine message. Bulgarian used four (оста, гръбна линия, скелет, гръбнак), and Ukrainian, Greek, Finnish, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese and both Chinese catalogs used two each. Each of those catalogs now uses the term its rows used most often: оста in Bulgarian, вісь in Ukrainian, κεντρική καμπύλη in Greek, selkäranka in Finnish, スパイン in Japanese, 스파인 in Korean, coluna in Brazilian Portuguese, 脊线 in Simplified Chinese and 脊線 in Traditional Chinese. 19 rows change, and no English string changes. A new i18n test checks that every row naming the spine in the 19 catalogs uses its catalog's term.
