As in Excel, a right-click on an inactive tab now activates that sheet, so
the tab menu's Protect/Unprotect Sheet and Select All Sheets act on the
sheet that was clicked rather than the one that was active.

The cell and header right-click menus, the ribbon dropdown menus and the data
validation pick list drew their items with Button::frame(false), which turns
the background off in every state, hover included. frame_when_inactive(false)
keeps them flat at rest and shows the hover background, as Excel's menus do.

A category range two or more columns wide beside a column of values (year beside month, Excel's
multiLvlStrRef) was read as one flat list: 36 rows in two columns became 72 categories, the
series sat in the left half of the plot and the years and months shared one row of labels.
Saving wrote the range as a plain strRef, so Excel lost the two-level axis too.
- gridcraft_core::category_levels: the shape of a category range beside its values (levels are
columns when the points run down the rows, rows when they run along the columns; up to three
outer levels), shared by the chart and xlsx crates.
- ChartData.category_levels: the outer levels, nearest the labels first, one entry per category,
non-empty where a group starts. resolve fills it; a single column is unchanged.
- render: the outer levels in rows under the labels, a group's name centred under its categories
with a separator at each boundary; in bar charts in columns beside the labels.
- xlsx: <c:cat> written as multiLvlStrRef with the level caches (innermost first), so the axis
survives a round trip.
Tests in core (shapes), chart (resolve and layout for columns, bars and a row of values) and
xlsx (written XML, read-back, stability, a single column stays strRef). chart-parity, gaps § 4
and the ROADMAP progress log updated.

The palette every colour menu shares ends with the custom colours last used
(Recent Colors, newest first, ten at most, each once) and a More Colors… button
that opens a picker in the menu: the saturation/value area with its hue bar, egui's
red-green-blue boxes, a hex box (#RRGGBB, RRGGBB, #RGB) with the new colour beside
it, OK and Cancel. OK applies the colour like a swatch and remembers it.
The ribbon's Fill Color and Font Color menus close only on a click outside them or
after a pick, so the picker stays open while it is used; the Format Cells pickers
show it inline. The tab-colour and chart-series menus are sub-menus that close on
any click inside, so they show Recent Colors but not the picker.
`formulas.evaluate` (behind `gridcraft-cli eval` and MCP's `evaluate_formula`) turned any
formula that didn't parse into #NAME?, so `=SUM(1;2)` looked like an unknown function. It now
parses the way `cell.set` does (missing closing parentheses are added) and returns the same
errors: "There's a problem with this formula: expected `,` or `)`, found Semicolon", or the
wrong-argument-count message. An unknown function still evaluates to #NAME?, as in Excel.
Typing then Right or Down committed through the Enter/Tab path, so Right
continued the run and Down went back to its starting column. Found by
@richard1912 against Excel 365: from B2, type, Tab, type, Right, Enter
lands on D3, and with Down on C4.
MAP, BYROW, BYCOL, SCAN and MAKEARRAY put one value in each cell, but a
LAMBDA returning several values silently gave its first one:
MAP({1,2},LAMBDA(x,{1,2})) was {1,1} and BYROW(…,LAMBDA(r,r)) the first
column. As in Excel, the whole result is now #CALC!, as arrays can't
nest (a single-value array is still fine). MAP with a LAMBDA taking a
different number of parameters than it has arrays, and BYROW or BYCOL
with one taking other than one, ran anyway; Excel gives #VALUE!.
home.insertRows {"rows":"3"} and home.insertColumns {"cols":"B"}
failed with "not a range": only spans such as 3:3 or B:B parsed. The
same went for deleting, hiding, sizing and grouping rows and columns.
A single row number or column letter now means that one line.
After each round, every array formula that was evaluated queued the
dependents of its spill area again, even when it spilled the same area
with the same values. Two arrays that read each other's spill areas
then queued each other in every round, up to the limit of 8: one edit
evaluated 24 formulas instead of 3. An unchanged spill now leaves its
dependents alone. last_recalc_cells counts the formulas of all rounds.
Flash Fill read stored values, so a date was the serial number 45306,
not 2024-01-15: with "15/01/2024" given for 2024-01-15 it found no
part of the source in the example and filled every row with
"15/01/2024" again. It now reads the cells' displayed text, as Excel
does.
home.formatCells documents {style: {numFmt?, ...}}, but the style patch
was merged with the style's snake_case field names, so numFmt (and
borders.diagUp/diagDown) were silently ignored. camelCase keys in the
patch are now renamed to the style's own; snake_case keys still work.
The size box is one frame with the Font name box's fill, border, height and
corners, with the text field and the dropdown arrow inside it (focus shows
the selection stroke). The size list drops directly below the box and is as
wide as it, instead of opening 220 pt wide under the arrow.
