- Find what understands Word's ^ codes (^p ^t ^? ^# ^$ ^^ ^l ^m ^n ^b ^+ ^= ^s ^~ ^- ^w ^g ^% ^v,
^nnn / ^unnnn); Replace with adds ^& (found text) and ^c (clipboard). `special: false` reads
the text literally.
- Use wildcards: ? * [abc] [a-z] [!x] {n} {n,} {n,m} @ < > ( ), \1-\9 in Replace with; always
matches case, like Word. Patterns are translated to the linear-time regex engine (no
catastrophic backtracking), length and counts capped, bad patterns are errors.
- ^p matches paragraph marks between sibling paragraphs; a ^p in the replacement splits the
paragraph. Replace All stays one undo step.
- Match prefix / suffix, Ignore punctuation / white-space characters.
- Dialog: Use wildcards checkbox, Search Options with the new options and a Special menu that
inserts codes into the focused field (a shorter list with wildcards); strings in all 9 catalogs.
