Apply Last Color keeps `,` and also gets `Shift+,` as a default key; Apply Last Gradient keeps `.` and also gets `Shift+.`. The keymap catalog takes the extra defaults from a small alias table, the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog lists every default key of a row, and reset restores both. A shifted punctuation chord that the active keymap binds now runs from its key press, once per press, so a user binding such as `Shift+;` works and layouts where Shift+Period types another character still run the bound command. Text editing still types the characters. The toolbar tips read "Color (, or <)" and "Gradient (. or >)", with rows in every catalog.
