dotCooCoo 219253f163 Objects on Path: attach objects to a path and spread them along it
VectorCraft had no Objects on Path. A click with the Objects on Path
tool attaches the selected objects to the path clicked. The tool is in
Edit Toolbar's Modify section and the Blend tool's flyout, and Object ›
Objects on Path › Attach and the context menu with two or more objects
selected choose it. The objects and the path go into an Objects on
Path group with the path at its bottom.

- object.objectsOnPath.attach orders the objects column by column from
left to right and top to bottom in each column. The first one sits
on the path's first anchor, the last one sits on the end of an open
path, and the rest are spread evenly by length; a closed path takes
them all the way round. Each object's attachment point (Pivot, one
of nine, default the center of its bounds without strokes) sits on
the path, and the object is turned to the path there. An object that
was rotated by an angle other than a multiple of 90° is first turned
to the nearest multiple of 90°. Rotate tilts every object by that
many degrees counter-clockwise. Symbol instances are measured by
their art. Guides, compound paths, type, paths without length and
graphs are refused with a reason.
- After every edit the objects go back on the path: editing the path
moves them, an object moved on its own goes back, and objects moved
into or out of the group in the Layers panel join the end of the
path or leave it. Scaling, shearing or reflecting the whole group
keeps each object's scale, shear or reflection, and the objects are
spread evenly along the transformed path again. Undo takes the path
and the objects back in one step, and a copied group stays live on
  its own path.
- object.objectsOnPath.options changes Pivot and Rotate, and
object.objectsOnPath.expand leaves a plain group. Both act on the
groups that `ids` names, or on the groups of the selection when
  `ids` is not given.
- The native file keeps the group live; SVG, PDF and the other exports
write plain art. The tool highlights the path under the pointer, has
a cursor entry, and Escape during a press cancels the click.

dotCooCoo f0d3f81f3b Canvas: a right-click on locked objects offers Unlock with each object's name
A right-click on the canvas now records the locked objects under the
pointer with vectorcraft_doc::hit::locked_objects_at, topmost first and
at most 20. A locked group is listed instead of the objects it holds.
Hidden objects and objects on hidden, locked or template layers are not
listed, and in isolation mode only the isolated group's contents are
listed. While the menu is open, it has an Unlock submenu after Undo
and Redo that lists each of them by the name the Layers panel shows.
Choosing a name runs layer.setProps {ids: [id], locked: false}, as the
Layers panel's lock column does, in one undo step. ui.contextMenu.list
shows the same items.

FryandClaude Opus 4.8 e6a3b37bed UI: right-click a ruler to swap the document units
A right-click on either ruler (or the origin box) now opens a context
menu listing the ten document units, the current one checked. Choosing
one runs document.setUnits — the same one-undo-step change as
Preferences ▸ Units ▸ General / Document Setup.

The guide-drag interact on each ruler becomes click-and-drag so the same
widget both drags out guides (left) and opens the unit menu (right); the
origin box gets its own click interact. checked() reports the active unit
so the menu shows the check-mark; the unit labels are already translated
as the Units preference choices.

WildfootWandClaude Fable 5.1 902c3ae8c1 i18n: UI localisation framework and a Traditional Chinese (zh-hant) catalog
Strings in code stay English and are the lookup keys; `crates/ui-egui/src/i18n`
maps them to display text at render time from one `*.tsv` catalog per language
(`LANGUAGES` registry, `tl!`/`t`/`tr`/`tr_ctx`/`tr_id`/`tn`/`fmt`). Command ids,
menu paths, `ui.menu.list`, the control channel, the CLI, MCP, status messages
and undo labels never see translated text, so agents, scripts and the existing
tests are unaffected (under `cargo test` the UI is always English).

Wired: in-window menus and the macOS native menu (rebuilt on a language change),
dynamic labels (Undo X, Reset X, Last Effect: X as templates), the command
palette (matches English and translated text), dock tabs, panel tooltips, the
toolbar (category names now cut by characters, not bytes), the dialog frame, the
shared widgets, the Preferences dialog, the shortcut editor, the hint and status
bars, the Home screen, and the literals of every panel and dialog.

Preference `interfaceLanguage` (User Interface › Language): `auto` or a code.
`auto` follows `VECTORCRAFT_LOCALE`, `LC_ALL`/`LC_MESSAGES`/`LANG`/`LANGUAGE`,
the macOS preferred languages and, on Windows (which sets no `LANG`), the user
locale from `HKCU\Control Panel\International`. `zh-TW`/`zh-HK`/`zh-MO`/
`zh-Hant-*` resolve to `zh-hant`; Simplified locales stay English until a
`zh-hans` catalog exists.

`zh-hant.tsv` (~2,850 rows) is clean-room, in the vocabulary used in Taiwan;
terms shared with PhotoCraft reuse its wording, vector terms use everyday
vector-drawing vocabulary. Tests: catalog well-formedness (placeholders,
ellipses, command ids, no Simplified characters), locale resolution, and two
coverage tests that fail when a menu string, panel/tool/preference label,
dialog button, hint-bar fragment or `tl!` literal has no row in a language
marked `complete_menus`. `VECTORCRAFT_I18N_DUMP=file cargo test -p
vectorcraft-ui-egui dump_source_strings` lists the strings for translators.

Also: two clippy findings under rustc 1.97 fixed in passing.

Integrated with main (squashed onto it, 42 commits on): the Czech interface
(#213) moves from its Rust table to `i18n/cs.tsv` on the registry (all 556
rows, Czech plural rule, its menu-coverage and glyph tests kept); Find Font's
resolution notes and the canvas context menu's labels are translated and
covered by the catalog tests (`menus::CONTEXT_LABELS`); the glyph test checks
CJK text only when the craft-fonts build input is embedded (#220 moved the
Japanese fonts out of this repository); a language saved by an older version
carries over to `interfaceLanguage`; Windows' locale lookup runs reg.exe by its
full path.

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 cdb734aede Fix #219: right-click on the canvas opens a context menu
Right-clicking the canvas now opens a context menu, as the reference app
does. The object under the pointer is selected first unless it already is.
The menu then lists what applies to the selection: Undo and Redo, Cut, Copy,
Paste, Isolate Selected Group or Exit Isolation Mode, Group and Ungroup,
Join and Average, Make or Release Clipping Mask and Compound Path, Make
Guides, the Transform, Arrange and Select submenus, and Export Selection.
On empty canvas it lists Paste, the zoom commands, the ruler, grid and guide
toggles and Select All. Commands that can't run now are left out (Undo and
Redo stay, greyed out), and a press on the canvas only closes the menu. Agents list the same menu with the
`ui.contextMenu.list` control method.

Root cause: the canvas ignored the secondary button except in the toolbar's
tool flyouts; there was no context menu at all. The menu reuses the menu
bar's items, rendering and dispatch; Object > Transform and Arrange are now
shared lists.
