dotCooCoo 9cbab1383b Paint: fill, stroke, gradient and Appearance panel commands that change nothing record no undo step
These commands edited the document even when nothing changed, so the
call recorded an undo step, emptied Redo and marked the document
modified:

- Fill, Stroke, None, Apply Last Color and Apply Last Gradient with the
paint the objects have already, also on characters selected with the
  Type tool.
- stroke.set and stroke.setAdvanced with the options the strokes have
  already.
- paint.editGradient, paint.setGradientGeom and the freeform point
commands when the gradient comes out as it was.
- Invert and Complement on the Appearance panel's selected row when no
  color changes.
- Swap Fill and Stroke and Default Fill and Stroke when every object
  comes out as it was.
- appearance.setItem with the values the item has or an index no
object has, and transparency.set with an item and the values that
  item has; appearance.removeItem with indices past every stack;
appearance.moveItem, Reduce to Basic Appearance, Clear Appearance,
the Eyedropper (appearance.copyFrom) and appearance.transfer when
every object comes out as it was.

These commands now return without editing the document. The replies
have the same form as before. On a graph's series or labels, a fill or
stroke that the art has already still records one undo step when the
graph does not keep that paint for them (for example after the
Eyedropper painted the art), and the graph then keeps it.

The Eyedropper test whose second copy changed nothing gives its target
a green fill first, which the copy turns red again.

One line in the evidence list of docs/target-app-parity.md names these
commands, apart from Invert and Complement.

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 2e6662c93b M3.51: Fill/Stroke chips open swatch and mixer popovers; panel shortcuts; Recolor quick action
The Control bar and Properties Fill/Stroke chips show the proxies' paints
("?" for mixed selections) and open a popover with the Swatches panel body
(Shift-click or the toggle: the Color panel's mixer); a click brings the
chip's proxy forward through paint.toggleActive {fill}. The Properties
panel offers Recolor for multi-colour selections. Window panel shortcuts
(Color F6, Color Guide Shift+F3, Appearance Shift+F6, Graphic Styles
Shift+F5, Stroke Cmd+F10, Gradient Cmd+F9, Transparency Shift+Cmd+F10)
run window.panel {panel}, show in the Window menu and are editable.

paint.invert / paint.complement and the "?" state honour the Appearance
panel's active item; objects without bounds still show their paints.

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 c071dcd4d0 M3.28: proxies look through groups like the paint commands (a group shows its contents' paint, and contents that differ make a "?" proxy), the toolbar and panels share the engine's Session::proxy_paints, Magic Wand and Select Text by Font bump the revision so the cached "?" state follows them; double-click proxy test

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 6d2dc7cbbc M3.28: Color panel behaviour — the mode follows the colour's own model (the last mode picked returns for colours in its model), Alt-clicking the spectrum, None/Black/White, swatches, recent colours or Color Guide chips paints the inactive proxy, Hide Options leaves the proxy and spectrum, RGB/HSB show the out-of-gamut warning (click to correct), Shift-clicking the spectrum cycles modes, Shift-dragging a slider moves the others in tandem, and a mixed selection draws "?" proxies (paint.proxies reports fillMixed/strokeMixed)

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 8a871d98a9 M3.29: proxy paint commands — paint.invert / paint.complement recolour the active proxy of each selected object keeping its colour model (the defaults when nothing is selected), paint.lastColor (,) and paint.lastGradient (.) re-apply the last solid colour or gradient (the toolbar chips draw and run them), swap and default work on type, and recent colours live in the Session, fed by every paint command (MCP, eyedropper, live previews on commit) and listed by paint.recent
