$INSUNITS 22, 23 and 24 (US survey inch, yard and mile, as Autodesk's INSUNITS reference
lists them) had no size or name, so the drawing opened as unitless (millimetres, or inches
with $MEASUREMENT 0) and document.dxfInfo said Unitless.
They now derive from the US survey foot (1200/3937 m) like code 21, with their names.
The test reads each survey code's unit name and default scale and opens a survey-inch line at
7200.0144 pt.

DXF text justified Fit now keeps its height and stretches or squeezes
horizontally to run exactly from its first point to its second; Aligned
text scales as a whole, height included, to do the same, its width factor
kept. Attributes justified the same way follow suit. Without a second point,
or with both points the same, the text keeps its size as before.
Root cause: the importer took the angle of the two points and anchored the
text at the first, but kept the text's height and width factor, ignoring the
distance between the points. The text now records that span and, when it
becomes a text object, is measured in the font it is set in, then given the
horizontal scale (Fit) or size (Aligned) that makes it end at the second
point, kept between 1% and 10,000% of its natural length. The import's
bounds estimate uses the same scale.

A spline edge read an optional fit count (97) after its control
points. Files before DXF 2010 have no fit data there, so the 97 that
follows is the loop's count of source objects: the edge took it, then
failed reading fit points where the 330 handles are, and the whole
hatch was dropped without a warning. That is every associative hatch
bounded by a spline from AutoCAD R2000 to R2007.
A fit count is 0 or followed by fit points (11), and a source count
by handles (330), so the edge now only takes the 97 when it is 0 or
points follow.

ASCII DXF of any version opens (document.open) and places (file.place) through
a new reader in vectorcraft-cad: lines, LW/2D/3D polylines with bulge arcs,
circles, arcs, ellipses, NURBS splines (exact Beziers up to cubic, fitted
otherwise), solids, solid and pattern hatches, TEXT/MTEXT/ATTRIB as point
type, named blocks as symbols (one per look for by-block art), anonymous
blocks and dimensions as groups, MINSERT arrays, OCS extrusion; layers keep
off/frozen/locked/plot state; ACI and true colour, lineweights, linetypes and
transparency resolve through layers and blocks. The `dxf` option object picks
the layout, ratio or fit, lineweight scaling, centring and merged layers;
document.dxfInfo lists layouts, layers and units. Binary DXF and DWG answer a
clear error. The DXF Import Options dialog (dxfImport) asks on open and place
with a layout preview. Fuzzed in import_fuzz.
