Brandon ThomasandClaude Opus 5.5 33a6c3dfbc Test Mix in a separate window: the toggle and closing it 
window.mix_separate toggles (and takes a value), Toggle Mix/Edit keeps Edit
in the main window while Mix is separate, a few frames draw both, and
closing the Mix window brings Mix back into the main one. The close handling
moves into mix_window::separate_closed so the test can reach it.

Brandon ThomasandClaude Opus 5.5 74b3278a19 control server: cap request lines at about 86 MiB, not 256 MiB 
256 MiB per line times 16 connections let a peer make the app buffer about
4 GiB. 16 MiB would break a legitimate request: mix.insert_state carries a
plugin's state as base64 inline, and the engine accepts states of up to
b64::MAX_DECODED_BYTES (64 MiB), about 85.3 MiB of base64. Nothing else sent
to the app is that large (screenshots are replies, which this doesn't bound).
So the cap is that base64 length plus 1 MiB for the JSON around it, derived
from the same constant so the two stay in step; a compile-time check keeps it
under 96 MiB, about 1.5 GiB across all 16 connections.

Brandon ThomasandClaude Opus 5.5 41c8561d51 Signal Generator refuses a selection longer than one render 
It cut the new clip at MAX_RENDER_SAMPLES / channels without a word, after
allocating up to 2 GiB for it. Refuse such a selection up front, as #326
does for other renders, before anything is generated.

Brandon ThomasandClaude Opus 5.5 285d9fecd5 Bounce Mix: a session path without a folder starts in the default one 
A relative session path has an empty parent, which made the default
"/<name> Bounce.wav". Ignore an empty parent so it falls back to the
default folder, as for a session never saved.

Brandon ThomasandClaude Opus 5.5 dac86131ee Recovery repairs only take files in the folders recordings write to 
recording.json names the take files whose headers recovery rewrites. Before
writing, check that each is a regular file (not a symlink) directly in the
Audio Files folder a recording of that session writes into (next to the
session file, or in its folder under the autosave root) and that it starts
with the float WAV header the recorder writes. Anything else is left
untouched, logged and listed with the media recovery couldn't load.
