Si devuelve `null`, el `forEach` ni siquiera se ejecuta (no es un array) y el error seria `Cannot read properties of null (reading 'forEach')`, no este.\n\nAsi que el error ocurre cuando `findShapes` devuelve un array no vacio y algun elemento del array es `undefined`. `findShapes` filtra sobre los shapes de un parent, y el parent es `board`.\n\n`board` es un `Board` (type 'board'), que es un contenedor. Los contenedores tienen `children`. `findShapes` recorre el arbol de hijos. Si el arbol tiene un hijo que es `undefined` (no `null`), `findShapes` lo devuelve tal cual en el array, y el `forEach` lo itera: `r.remove()` sobre `undefined` lanza `Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'length')` porque `remove()` accede a `this.children.length` en su interior.\n\nEso significa que el board ya tiene un hijo `undefined` en su arbol de children. No es un error de mi codigo: es un estado corrupto del board.\n\nLa causa mas probable: en una ejecucion previa, `board.insertChild(board.children.length, shape)` se ejecuto con `board.children.length` evaluado antes de que el insert se completara, y el runtime devolvio `undefined` en lugar de un shape. O bien, `board.insertChild` se ejecuto con un indice que no corresponde a ningun hijo existente, y el runtime inserto `undefined` en ese slot.\n\nNo puedo arreglar esto con `board.insertChild` de nuevo. Necesito un remedio mas fuerte.\n\nOpcion A: `board.children = []`. `board` es un `Board`, y `children` es un getter de solo lectura segun la documentacion. Intentarlo lanzaria un TypeError de readonly, y no liberaria el `undefined`.\n\nOpcion B: `board.remove()`. `remove()` destruye la shape permanentemente. Si lo hago sobre el board, lo borro de la pagina. No es lo que quiero.\n\nOpcion C: crear un board nuevo. `const nuevo = penpot.createBoard();` — `createBoard` no recibe id, asi que el runtime le asigna uno nuevo. Lo inserto en la pagina, y ahi el arbol de children empieza limpio.\n\nOpcion D: `board.children = board.children.filter(s => s !== undefined)`. Esto no borra el `undefined` del arbol: lo copia a un array nuevo, y el `undefined` sigue en `board.children` original.\n\nOpcion E: `board.children.splice(0, board.children.length)`. `splice` muta el array in-place, asi que si el `undefined` esta en el array, lo borra del array. Pero `board.children` es un getter de solo lectura, asi que `board.children.splice` probablemente ni siquiera existe.\n\nOpcion F: `board.insertChild(0, penpot.createRectangle())` y despues `board.remove()`. No, `remove()` borra el board.\n\nLa opcion C es la mas limpia: creo un board nuevo, limpio, y listo.\n\nPero antes de decidir, necesito confirmar que el board realmente tiene un hijo `undefined`.
