Reconcile Pages sidebar selection with current keyboard and panel modules

Preserve main's continuous text selection, page tools and module split. Carry only this branch's sidebar-focus feature and regression onto main, without resurrecting old common files from criss-cross merge bases. Hosted CI remains required.
