Thumbnail overlays come from the ProgID's TypeOverlay value. When it is absent, Windows uses the default program's icon, and an empty string means no overlay ("Thumbnail Handlers", Microsoft Learn). The installer now writes TypeOverlay = "" on PdfCraft.Document.
