From 05df6ee4b722943a7b28ccadcb9bc9950d82480d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: aiongg Date: Thu, 22 Oct 2026 15:10:15 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] fix(fonts): decode each candidate font program once, within its size Looking for an already embedded full program decoded every candidate up to 17 MiB, once per resource naming it, so a page whose PCFull resources all alias one compressed stream, or many marked streams, made one text edit inflate gigabytes. Candidates now decode within the program's own length, each once per embedding, and at most 16 in all; the resource check compares its CMap streams within their expected lengths too. --- crates/fonts/src/embedding.rs | 140 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++-------- 1 file changed, 108 insertions(+), 32 deletions(-) diff --git a/crates/fonts/src/embedding.rs b/crates/fonts/src/embedding.rs index a5bb011e00..23f34dbb36 100644 --- a/crates/fonts/src/embedding.rs +++ b/crates/fonts/src/embedding.rs @@ -1,9 +1,10 @@ //!
