  doc: a folder that can't be listed is `exists: null` (couldn't tell), not
  `false`, since 142e496f5; the launch window still shows why for every
  reason.
- a_failed_lookup_doesnt_mark_a_recent_library_missing skips (System) when a
  folder with no permissions can still be read, as when running as root.
