radialmonster 0b8c7a237a LR-IMP-FORMATS: TIFF raws with a thumbnail-only IFD0 import as preview only, not as a tiny image
Phase One / Leaf IIQ, Canon EOS-1D / 1Ds and Kodak DCS TIFFs keep their raw data in
a private block. IFD0 is only a 160-640 px RGB copy and no IFD is marked as raw, so
they opened as an ordinary TIFF of that size (a 150 MP file rendered 296x220) with
no preview-only label.

probe() now recognises such a file from its structure (OtherTiff): a picture at
least 4x larger than IFD0 in both directions is declared by a SubIFDs child, or by
Exif PixelXDimension/PixelYDimension together with enough bytes outside every IFD's
strips and tiles to hold it at one bit per pixel. decode() reports the sizes as the
reason. A raw we cannot decode now falls back to its embedded JPEG, else to the TIFF
reader's view of its first image, so it imports preview-only with that reason.
RENDER_CACHE_VERSION 12: these files render differently.

BFlat eeb136b9ee Merge pull request #370 from storytold/claude/fix-260-startup-failure-dialog
Part of #260: a desktop start that fails says why, in a message box naming the log

Claude 7fb24029f2 Part of #260: a desktop start that fails says why, in a message box naming the log
When eframe could not open the window (no usable graphics device, a
broken driver), main returned the error to standard error, which a
Windows release build (no console) or an app started from Finder never
shows: the app just vanished. The error now goes to the log (the file
#286 added) and into a native message box, in the user's language, that
names the log file. The saved UI language is applied before the window
starts so the message uses it. Scripts and tests (LIGHTCRAFT_NO_PREFS)
get no dialog.

Claude 5601d7879a Fix #171: a library that can't be locked opens with a warning the user sees
When catalog.lock can't be locked (a file system without locks, such as
some network shares), the library opens unprotected, as documented, but
the promised warning went only to the log. It is now the first of the
library's warnings: library.info lists it under settingsWarnings, the
app shows it once in its notices, and lightcraft-cli run / mcp print the
library's warnings on stderr (stdout stays results / protocol only). A
normally locked library shows none.

Иван Лапочкин f96f732baa M11.1: add CR3 decoding
Decode lossless CRX and version 0x100/0x200 C-RAW in portable Rust,
including sensor geometry, timed white balance and black/white levels.
Verify all sensor samples against six independent M50/R100/R8 references.

Any CR3 decode error falls back to the embedded JPEG, as CR3 files did
before this decoder. The full sensor buffer is allocated only after the
first plane decodes, and plane buffers grow row by row. Tile planes
decode in parallel with a windowed bit reader (24 MP: 424 -> 89 ms
lossless, 519 -> 138 ms C-RAW on an M4).

Add guarded CR3 camera-JPEG colour fitting with independent framing
validation, relative white balance and cache invalidation.

Validation: cargo xtask ci.

Claude 9b4ba1aa80 Fix #316: the section eye switches off Light, Color and Detail too
The pipeline honoured a section's eye only where it applies Effects,
Optics, Geometry and Calibration, so turning the eye off on Light, Color
or Detail changed nothing. DevelopSettings::effective() resets the
switched-off sections to their defaults (Light with the tone curve; Color
with white balance, mixers, grading and point colour; Detail), and both the
CPU and GPU renderers render those. Borrowed, so free, when every section
is on.

Claude 0634782fbc i18n: German and Russian follow-ups (#265, #264)
- #265's German coverage test failed whenever any catalog key, command or
control label, or line of What's New lacked German, so every feature PR
would have had to ship German. It reports those gaps for every language
now (display_label_gaps_are_reported), as the project's other gap test
does; docs/localization.md says how release-note lines are matched and
that an English copy in a formats catalog marks an untranslated message.
- Russian: docs/localization-ru.md, the language lists in
docs/localization.md and docs/parity.md, ru tag tests.
- What's new: German and Russian UI. Removes a status sentence #265 put
  in parity.md's Top gaps list.

radialmonster e2d35de867 LR-IMP-ADD-DIALOG: file dialogs match extensions in any letter case on Linux (#342)
rfd turns each extension into a *.ext glob that GTK and the desktop portal
match case-sensitively, so DSC_1234.NEF was hidden. One helper
(dialog_filter) gives every dialog filter the lower, UPPER and bracket
forms on Linux; the Add Photos filter uses import::EXTENSIONS.

Claude 92c7237c50 Fix #322: type an exact value into a slider
Click the value next to a slider's name to edit it: the old value starts
selected, Return or clicking away applies the typed number on the
control's steps and range as one undo step (like a keyboard nudge), and
Esc or text that isn't a number keeps the old value. A decimal comma,
a leading + and a % or K unit are accepted. The keys typed go to the
field, not to the shortcuts.

radialmonster 34ecea4f24 LR-IMP-CAMERA-COVERAGE: read Canon ColorData stored as bytes, so PowerShot and EOS M CR2s get their as-shot white balance
Maker note tag 0x4001 is UNDEFINED bytes (ColorData versions -3 and -4) on
PowerShot and EOS M bodies. It was read as one number per byte, so no plausible
as-shot levels were found and the white balance was 1, 1, 1 (green cast, a* about
-13 on neutrals). Byte and undefined data is now paired into 16-bit words in the
maker note's byte order before the existing probe (word 71). No per-model table.

RENDER_CACHE_VERSION 11 -> 12.

radialmonster ff8d027766 LR-IMP-FORMATS: NEF lossy type 2 curve of version 0x44 0x40 spans a quarter of the sample range
Maker note 0x0096 of the D780, D6, Z 5, Z 6, Z 7 and Z 7_2 starts 0x44 0x40
and holds 257 points, but its first interval rises by 2^bits / 1024 where the
0x44 0x20 tables rise by 2^bits / 256: the curve is the identity in the dark
part and covers 2^bits / 4 codes, not 2^bits. The decoder spaced the points
2^bits / 256 codes apart for both, so these files decoded to a fraction of
their values, far below the black level.

parse_table now takes the span from the version (0x20: all codes, 0x40: a
quarter). Other versions decode to identical samples. A known-answer test
built from hand-coded table bytes and bit strings fails without the change.
Bumps RENDER_CACHE_VERSION to 12.

Claude 4eb9b565e0 Profiles: imported LUT names shown as named, own ids for their folders (#333)
#333 passed imported LUT names and folder names through tr(), so a LUT
named like a message ("Vivid") was shown translated; they are now shown
as the file names them (builtin_label / new profile_label, as for user
presets). A LUT folder named like a built-in group ("Film") shared that
group's menu widget id and the browser section's open state; both are
keyed apart now. Restores the "Amount 0 = the photo as it was" assertion
#333 replaced, and adds a What's new line.

Claude a12fabd588 Library: the Photo Grid label footer is translucent; pt-br for "Color label cleared" (#308)
#308 painted an opaque label-coloured bar over the bottom 24 px of every
labelled photo in Photo Grid, hiding part of the photo, while its docs
said the photo pixels stay as they are. The footer is now translucent
over the photo and the docs say so. Also adds the one string pt-br lacked.

MarekSpodBiedry 4d506494d9 Issue #337: the Import Photos dialog is bigger and resizable; the photo grid fills it
The review dialog was a fixed-size window whose thumbnail grid was capped at 330 points (about 6 x 2.5 thumbnails). It now opens at 960 x 720, can be resized by its edges and corners, and the grid takes whatever height the options and buttons leave. The dialog has a window id of its own so its size does not carry over to the other dialogs.

Claude 8b70d33d0f Fix #319: release builds pin craft-fonts with Noto Sans CJK SC
release.yml (five jobs) and freebsd.yml pinned craft-fonts abb83316, from
before Noto Sans CJK SC landed there, so v0.4.0 embedded only the Japanese
faces and most of the Simplified Chinese UI was tofu. The pin is now
8dcdacd5 (craft-fonts HEAD: Noto Sans CJK SC and Noto Sans Arabic), which
the Noto CJK exception merged from #203 allows. docs/releasing.md says when
to bump the pin and how to check it before a release.

flake.nix / flake.lock (community-maintained, not in CI) still pin the old
revision: the lock's narHash needs nix to recompute.
