macro.record checks name, shortcut and description when recording starts and keeps them for the save, so a name that is taken, too long or holds line breaks, or a Ctrl+Shift letter that GridCraft or another macro uses, is refused before anything is recorded. With empty parameters it records under the next MacroN, as before. A name or description given when stopping still wins, and a shortcut that another macro took while recording is dropped. The shortcut rules (macros::parse_shortcut, shortcut_text, shortcut_conflict, RESERVED_SHORTCUTS and check_new_name) live in the engine, so the Record Macro dialog, Macro Options and agents agree.
