* refactor: split complex functions for Sonar S3776
Extract helpers from backstage options (general, calculation and iteration
sections), code_editor python (string scanning), xtask i18n literals
(escape and string readers) and calc recalc loops_among (SCC search).
No behaviour change.
* Restore the loop count that loops_among's refactor dropped
The S3776 split moved the loop-detection body into loops_among without
the 'let n = circ.len()' it reads, so calc failed to compile and the
Sonar build broke. Restore the binding from main.
* Extract the SCC pop step from components() to reduce cognitive complexity (S3776)

* E37: migrate GridCraft to egui 0.37
Pin the reviewed fork and shared dependencies, adapt input and rendering to the
new frame lifecycle, and preserve bounded capture handling and font notices.
Add representative accessibility checks and meaningful control labels.
Validation: full repository CI passed all ten stages, with 2,249 tests passed,
zero failed and one existing timing test ignored. Native workflows and paired
performance qualification remain documented separately.
* egui037: record final published pins and local qualification
* M0.37: fix RTL clipping and preserve screenshot budgets
* test: share migrated GridCraft UI harness setup
* egui037: document migrated UI and regression contracts
* egui-037: align popup test fonts and avoid redundant tooltip probes
* Sonar: explicit imports, fn paths for closures, extract helpers for cognitive complexity

* Fix imports
* Fix serde imports
* Fix engine imports
* Fix clippy gate and a type error from the explicit-import change
Remove the unused imports the review flagged (cf.rs, pivot.rs, tables.rs, cmd/sheet.rs) so clippy -D warnings passes, and point the backstage parent-folder lookup at Path::to_str, which the fn-path rewrite had broken.

* Apply rustfmt to the explicit-import cleanup so the fmt gate passes
* Share the per-directory font path expansion in theme.rs
The candidate font lists repeated the same loop over the Linux font
directories in every role. A single helper expands them in the same order,
so the lookup order is unchanged and the duplicated blocks go away.

* Read the Windows fonts folder in one place in theme.rs
Every script-font list repeated the same WINDIR lookup. A single helper
returns the same path, so the duplicated lines go away without changing
which font files are tried.

* Build the light and dark UI palettes from one table in theme.rs
Tokens::light() and Tokens::dark() listed the same 40 colour fields in the
same order, so every change had to be made twice. A single palette
constructor takes the mode and picks each colour's value, so each field is
written once and both modes keep their exact colours.

* Share the Noto CJK font list between the CJK script lists in theme.rs
The Japanese, Simplified and Korean lists each repeated the same loop over
the Linux CJK directories with a different locale file name. One helper
builds that loop, and each list keeps its own face index, so the lookup
order is unchanged.

* Share Linux Noto directory list across Thai and Hebrew font lookups
Removes the duplicated directory arrays flagged by SonarCloud new-code duplication.
* Reuse in_dirs for Thai and Hebrew Noto font candidates
Removes the remaining duplicated per-directory loops flagged by SonarCloud.
* Share one font-list builder for the Thai and Hebrew faces
The two per-script functions repeated the same Windows, macOS, Linux and
variable-font setup. A single script_fonts helper now builds both lists,
keeping the candidate order unchanged, which clears the Sonar duplication gate.

- floating_pictures: draw without retaining when eviction can't free
enough room, so a large workbook can't pin the cache past its budget
- xtask stats: skip unreadable subtrees instead of aborting the walk
- import-cert.sh: per-run private temp dir instead of predictable
paths in a shared root
- gridcraft-web: gate clipboard ops behind user activation
- chart raster: cap dash rendering to the stroked budget
- cli check: mark directories visited by identity on unix so hard-link
loops can't recurse; reuse one decompression of a reused part
- PMT: take rate / m first so (pv + fv) / m can't overflow for a tiny rate (PMT(1e-300,10,1e12)).
- Keytips probe: an empty params object keys like no params.
- Number Stored as Text check reads the same accounting parentheses as typed entry.
- Lookups: a NaN number falls back to the general comparison instead of comparing equal.

A string a catalog lacks shows in English. Coverage, key-parity and
per-language count tests and tests of one language's exact wording are
removed; UI wiring tests take their expected text from the catalog.
cargo xtask i18n-report lists the missing strings per language and
always passes; cargo xtask ci runs it first.
* CI: dev builds keep line tables only
* CI: one integration-test binary per crate
* CI: xtask runs tests with nextest, doctests apart, --keep-going on clippy and wasm
cargo xtask test runs the workspace tests (--lib --bins --tests) with cargo-nextest when it is installed, else cargo test, then the doctests. cargo xtask ci uses the same two steps.
* CI: docs name cargo xtask test
* CI: agent guides name the moved fuzz test
* CI: tests added on main join their crate's test binary
The generator no longer probes insert.recommendedCharts (the engine command errors without a chart type; the UI opens the dialog) and emits an assertion that the recommendedCharts dialog is open. keytips_generated.rs updated to match.
Every Alt, H, B letter ran home.borders with no params, which defaults to
a bottom border, so H,B,N (No Border) and H,B,A (All Borders) both drew a
bottom border. keytips.json entries now take optional fixed `params`
(Action::CommandWith / DialogWith), and each Borders menu letter passes the
preset Excel's menu gives it. H,B,M opens Format Cells on the Border tab.
Erase Border, Line Color and Line Style are reserved (pending) instead of
drawing a bottom border.

- New Action::Control routes a keytip to its ribbon control (popup/dropdown
open, checkbox toggle, button handler) instead of an engine command with
empty params. Fixes ALT+H FF/FS/N/H/H error boxes.
- Ribbon consumes a one-shot ui.keytip_invoke: font/size/number combos
converted to the popup pattern (ComboBox has no open_memory), fill/font
color menus force-open via SetOpenCommand, 100% zoom and Formula Bar run
their handlers.
- keytips.json: FF/FS/N/H/H -> control kind; View/Formulas/Data dialog
openers (WQ zoom, HFM format cells, HO*, MV, AWG, sparkline types) and
control WVF; MSP/HVP re-targeted; dropped 15 unreachable Home sub-items
and non-Excel HWS shrink-to-fit.
- View tab: badges on workbook views, gridlines/headings, formula bar.
- Generated suite: 399 tests incl control-kind arm; direct tests 18.
cargo xtask keytips now emits tests/keytips_generated.rs alongside the
table: one end-to-end test per sequence, asserting exactly what its
action does today. The generator probes the live engine catalog at
generation time (blank workbook, empty params), so each live command
asserts journaled / ran clean / surfaced its missing-params error;
pending asserts silence; dialogs assert the dialog opens; tabs assert
the ribbon switch; group levels assert the prefix stays armed.
- pending-but-landed targets get live assertions and a generation
warning (HWS home.shrinkToFit and MAA formulas.removeArrows had
landed since population - flipped to live)
- unreachable-sequence validation: any seq with a terminal prefix
entry is rejected (HCP dropped - HC Copy fires first)
- ENV_SENSITIVE list keeps the checked-in file byte-stable across
machines (review.spelling uses the system dictionary)
- sample_sequences_work_with_text_before_key covers IME text-first
event order for one representative of each action kind
- generated_test_count_matches_the_table pins the table size
518 ui-egui tests green; all 8 CI gates pass.
Population of keytips.json from the collected Excel Alt-sequence set:
- 408 curated entries: 10 tabs, 354 command binds (64 reserved pending,
290 live catalog commands), 2 dialog openers, 42 group levels.
- Bind-all policy: sequences whose command does not exist yet bind to the
canonical future id as Action::Pending -- badge shows, invocation is a
silent no-op until the command lands (ids from docs/parity-checklist).
- Group levels: 46 command entries that are strict prefixes of deeper
sequences were demoted to menu openers so the trie never fires early
(HV must not paste; it waits for the variant letter).
- Fire-immediately restores: HC Copy, HAN Accounting, FA Save As, FO Open,
FI Info. Unreachable legacy aliases (HCC, HANM, FA1, FAY3, FOC, FOO, FIP)
dropped: the parent fires first.
- ES stays a terminal dialog opener as in Excel: the A/F/T/V variants are
dialog mnemonics, not trie sequences.
- Escape pops one trie level and returns to the armed root at a single
letter; keytips.json is the single modifiable source; xtask keytips now
emits through rustfmt so --check is byte-stable.
- Tests: 99 pass (27 lib + 14 keytips + suite), all 8 CI gates green.
The sequence table is no longer hand-maintained Rust: keytips.json is the
single human-edited source (one line per sequence, grouped by tab, pending
reserves sequences for future commands), and `cargo xtask keytips`
regenerates keytip_table/generated.rs deterministically. `cargo xtask ci`
now fails if the generated table is stale.
- Action::Pending: reserved sequences show their badge and invoke silently
until the command exists (bind-all policy).
- Intermediate group levels are implicit: the matcher waits whenever a
pressed letter starts a deeper sequence; only terminal entries are
listed (two-letter units like Draw's "JI" work with no extra rows).
- First populated sequence beyond the legacy set: W,V,G toggles gridlines,
proven end-to-end by view_gridlines_sequence_runs_end_to_end.
