`{"layoutMode": "NONE", "wrap": true}` was refused with a message
naming `layout`, a key the call didn't have. The error now names the
key the call used.

`apply_order` gave `layout` the rank of every other key, so the props
map's alphabetical order decided: `gap` applied before an object
`layout`, which then replaced the whole auto layout (the gap went back
to its default), and `padding` applied after `layout: null` and turned
auto layout back on.
`layout`/`layoutMode` now apply right after the geometry keys and
before the keys that tune them, and auto layout keys beside a `layout`
of null or "none" are refused, naming them.

Shadows and layer blurs dominated PNG/JPG/WebP export time (gdb stack
sampling of the example files: about 45% in fx::box_blur_h, 13% in
fx::morph). Both now produce the same bytes, faster:
- fx::blur runs its three box passes per row while the row is in cache,
works on whole pixels instead of bounds-checked bytes, skips fully
transparent rows, transposes in cache-friendly column blocks, and
splits rows and transposes across rayon on desktop for pixmaps of
64K pixels and more, only when not already on a rayon worker (a band
of render_view stays on its thread: no nested parallelism).
- fx::morph (shadow spread on layers that aren't one outline) uses the
van Herk / Gil-Werman running max/min: constant work per pixel instead
of 2r + 1.
Integer arithmetic and pass order are unchanged; new tests compare both
against the previous implementations byte for byte, including sizes on
the parallel path.
An ignored timing test exports every top-level frame of examples/ as
PNG, JPG and WebP at 2x through export_file:
cargo test --release -p figcraft-engine --lib export_timings -- --ignored --nocapture
Ryzen, 16 threads, Linux; median of 7 (min):
PNG 2195 ms (2182) -> 992 ms (989) -55%
JPG 2880 ms (2560) -> 1550 ms (1535) -46%
WebP 1964 ms (1901) -> 1022 ms (1018) -48%
total 7035 ms (6677) -> 3567 ms (3555) -49%
All 80 exported files (PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF, SVG) are byte-identical.

node.create and node.set take {"$var": variable id or name} for fill and stroke: an exact id
first, then an unambiguous name or Collection/name. The binding goes through the same code as
variable.bind, is applied after literal values and style links, replaces other bindings of that
paint's colour and clears its style link, all in one undo step.

Session::grouped saved only the undo stack's length, so a failed group could drop the entries it
added but not bring back the ones an edit.undo inside it popped. It now keeps each document's undo
entries on entry, as it already did for redo, and restores them when the group fails.

A density now counts only within 0.005 of a whole 2x-4x multiple of
72 dpi. That covers the rounding of pixels per metre (144 dpi is stored
as 5669 or 5670) and rejects nearby resolutions: 141, 143 and 145 dpi
were read as 2x under the old 0.05.
Paste falls back to the decoded clipboard image when the clipboard's PNG
can't be read, instead of pasting nothing.
Also the line on what the objc2 crates are for, and the ROADMAP row for
the new placing default.
A placed image was always fitted into 1000 px on its longer side, so a
screenshot of a 1440 px wide page came in at 1000 px and stopped lining
up with the design it was taken from. Figma places an image at its pixel
size and only scales down a side past 4096 px.
Placing now does the same, and reads the screen density a PNG records:
macOS screenshots carry 144 dpi (pHYs), so an 800 x 600 px capture of a
400 x 300 pt area comes in at 400 x 300, as in Figma. Only whole 2x-4x
multiples of 72 dpi count as a screen density; 300 dpi print scans and
other values keep their pixel size. The image data stays at full
resolution, so exports at 2x and up stay sharp.
On macOS, pasting reads the clipboard's public.png as is instead of the
decoded pixels arboard returns, which drop the density (and the colour
profile). Other platforms keep the decoded image.
Files dropped, Place image, paste and image.place all go through the
same path; an explicit width/height still wins.
Lowercasing a name ending in Σ gives ς, while a query Σ on its own lowercases to σ, so the
substring check missed it (CodeRabbit). Both sides now fold ς to σ.

command.batch and the MCP batch tool take onError: "abort" (the default, unchanged) or
"continue". In continue mode each step runs inside a rollback-only checkpoint split out of
Session::grouped: a failed step is rolled back on its own, later steps still run, and the result
is one {step, command, ok, result|error} object per step. What was applied is one undo step; a
reference to a failed step fails too; malformed batches are still rejected before any step runs.

node.find {root?, name?, type?, text?, component?, limit?} returns {ids, total} for the strict
descendants of root (or the current page) that match every filter given: name, text and main
component name as case-insensitive substrings, type as an exact type name. It changes neither the
selection, the page nor the undo history. Part of #996; fields/outline are left for later.

main split `codegen.rs` into `dev/codegen.rs` (the shell: `CodeLang`,
`code_for`, `Ctx`, the shared helpers) and one module per native target
(`css`, `html`, `swift`, `compose`, `arkui`), and added Vue and ArkUI from
other PRs. Flutter arrives as the tenth target, in its own module:
`dev/codegen/flutter.rs`, wired from `codegen.rs` (`CodeLang::Flutter`, `dart`
as an alias, rem left to the web targets), with `flutter_definition` /
`flutter_type` / `flutter_default` beside main's `arkui_definition`.
Every language list in the tree is a union of the two sides now: the
`inspect.code` and `inspect.componentCode` specs, `codeConnect` (parse, import
line, expression, template, path checks, messages), the playground CSS/HTML
assets, the 21 UI catalogues (main added eight after this branch: bn, fi, it,
ka, nl, pl, th, vi, each with Flutter in its own conjunction) and the docs.
Flutter is an extra code target; nothing main gained is dropped.
The reviewer's absolute-child bug (#1382-1403: a child that ignores its auto
layout parent fell through to `Place::Flow`) is fixed in `flutter_children`:
flow and absolute children are split, the absolute ones go in a `Stack` around
the Row/Column at the parent's own box (so their offsets stay the parent's and
the padding moves onto the line instead of insetting them), the line fills that
Stack (`Positioned.fill`, so `Expanded` still has a bounded width), and only
flow children now decide `CrossAxisAlignment.stretch` and `Expanded` — the
absolute child no longer joins the line's spacing or loses its offsets.
`flutter_lifts_a_child_that_ignores_its_auto_layout_parent_out_of_the_line`
covers both kinds of child in one auto-layout frame: a 50×20 flow child and a
30×30 absolute one asking for `fill` on both axes, in a parent with 4 pt
padding. It checks the offset, that the absolute child is out of the Row, that
no `Expanded`/stretch comes from it, and that the padding insets the line only.
ROADMAP and dev-mode-parity keep main's header (2026-10-26) and take this
branch's history row in date order (2026-10-16).
`cargo test`: engine 1391 pass, ui-egui 814 + 8 + 1 pass; fmt and clippy clean.
The one engine failure, `board_tables_tests::a_double_click…`, fails the same
way on a pristine `origin/main` here: this sandbox has no `craft-fonts`
checkout, so its text doesn't wrap and the row can't grow.
