Review of the zoom previews found three problems:
- The browser worker never previewed: wasm builds timed every render
as 0 ms, below the 12 ms threshold. Renders are now timed with
web-time's monotonic clock on every target (already in the tree via
the engine), and the inline worker is built everywhere so a test runs
it with the production threshold: preview one frame, refine the next,
a newer request skips the old refinement.
- A preview was refused whenever the texture on screen was refined at
the same zoom, even when that texture showed another part of the page
(back at 100% about another point after 800%: 1/64 of the view). It
now has to show the whole view asked for, not just its zoom.
- The latencies read the frame's start time before the inline render
and before the texture was set. They now run on the same clock from
the request to the image handed to egui as the canvas texture.

The Recents section shows recent files as cards: the picture each file
carries (thumbnail.png in .figcraft and .fig, an image file itself) fitted
on its first page's colour, a divider, and a footer with the file's icon,
name and "Edited ... ago" (or "File not found"); the full path on hover.
Pictures are read off the frame's thread, only for cards in view, cached
by path and modification time, capped in bytes and pixels; missing,
damaged or oversized ones give a placeholder. They fade in, and cards
show a skeleton until their file has been looked at.
A sort menu (Alphabetical, Date created, Last modified; either order) and
a grid/list toggle sit above them. The list is a Name, Last modified and
Created table whose headers sort. View (per section) and sort are kept in
the preferences and set with ui.set {homeRecentsView, homeRecentsSort,
homeRecentsOrder}. A click selects, a double-click or Enter opens, arrow
keys move the selection; a right-click offers Open, Show in folder and
Remove from recents (file.openRecent {remove}).

Plugin ABI v2: a plugin can show a panel (text, number, checkbox, select, colour, list, notes, buttons) rendered with FigCraft's widgets, react to events with its state kept between calls (each editing callback one undo step, full sandbox limits on every call), and store per-plugin settings (64 KB). plugin.ui / plugin.event / plugin.close drive panels from the CLI and MCP; v1 plugins run unchanged. The Swatch grid example gains a Palettes panel that remembers the last palette.
Strokes can use a brush: eight presets drawn in code (four stretched along the path, four scattered with spacing, size, rotation and offset jitter from a fixed seed), drawn by the shared stroke-outline code in canvas, PNG, SVG, PDF and outline stroke, with caps on copies and steps. Pointer events carry pen pressure; the Pencil records it as the stroke's width profile, which brushes follow (Windows pens and browser styluses; constant width elsewhere).
