Claude 3effa9a2ea Timeline: the view follows the CTI past its edges when scrubbing and during playback (#468)
The ruler scrub set the time under the pointer and never moved the visible span, so with
the timeline zoomed in a scrub couldn't go past the edge, and a preview ran the CTI out of
view. As in After Effects:

- zoomed in, a scrub held past either end of the ruler scrolls the timeline that way,
  faster the further past, with the CTI riding the edge (repainting while held);
- during playback, when the CTI leaves the visible span the view pages to start at it
  (not past the comp's end).

Tests: a unit test of the paging and edge speed, and a kittest that holds a scrub past the
right end (the view scrolls, the CTI stays at the edge), then past the left end, then plays
from beyond the view (it pages to the CTI). (#468's Shift+F and black-layer items need
more information and aren't part of this.)

Claude 3bde85dfdb Timeline: Ctrl/Cmd+wheel and a trackpad pinch zoom time (#428)
egui turns Ctrl/Cmd+wheel and a pinch into a zoom factor (zoom_delta)
rather than a scroll, and the Timeline only zoomed on Alt+wheel, so
both did nothing over the layers. They now zoom time around the
pointer, like Alt+wheel. (B stays Set Work Area Start as in After
Effects; Split Layer is Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+D.)

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 7056801eb2 Timeline: the composition marker bin adds comp markers where they are dropped (#275)
As in After Effects, the right end of the Timeline's time ruler has a
composition marker bin (an original icon drawn in code). Dragging out of it
shows a marker following the pointer along the ruler's marker strip, snapping
like a dragged marker (current time, work area, other markers); releasing over
the time ruler's width adds a composition marker there with comp.addMarker (one
"Add Marker" undo step). Dropped back on the bin, nothing is added. The time
graph ends 18 px before the panel edge to leave the bin a column above the
layers' scroll bar. Automation id: timeline.markerBin.

Numpad * (or * typed with Shift+8), the keymap's Add Marker, now works in the
window too: egui has no key for it, so it comes as text.

The marker glyph and colour are shared helpers now (markers, nested markers,
the dragged marker).

Test: ui_timeline_zoom dragging_out_of_the_marker_bin_adds_a_comp_marker.

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 1afeb9d5c6 Timeline: right-clicking the work area offers Trim Comp to Work Area, Lift and Extract (#290)
The work area bar had no context menu. Right-clicking it now offers the
work area's commands from the menu bar: Trim Comp to Work Area, Lift
Work Area and Extract Work Area (After Effects).

Test: work_area_context_menu_trims_the_comp (ui_timeline_zoom).

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 2419605cc4 Timeline: a press in the time ruler moves the current time (#284)
The ruler moved the current-time indicator only once the pointer had
dragged past egui's drag threshold, or on release for a click. As in
After Effects, the time now jumps to the pointer as soon as the button
goes down in the ruler, then follows the drag.

Test: a_press_in_the_ruler_moves_the_current_time (ui_timeline_zoom).

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 0ac5f9fb9b Timeline: Shift-dragging the work area snaps to the current time (#252)
Shift-dragging the work area's begin or end handle now snaps it to the
current-time indicator, keyframes, layer in and out points and markers
within 8 px, with the snap candidates the CTI and keyframe drags use.
The work area bar itself drags too, as in After Effects: it moves the
work area and keeps its length, and with Shift the nearer end snaps.

Test: shift_dragging_the_work_area_snaps_to_the_current_time.

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 e008085a93 Spacebar: a tap previews on release, held it is the Hand tool (#227)
Spacebar started or stopped the preview on its press, so holding it to
pan the Composition panel (Space+drag already panned there) also
toggled playback. As in After Effects, plain Spacebar now runs its
shortcut when it is released, and only if no mouse button went down
while it was held and the press didn't go to a text field; key
auto-repeat toggles nothing more. Shift+Spacebar and the numpad
preview shortcuts still run on the press.

Holding Spacebar over the Timeline's ruler and time graph is the Hand
tool there too: dragging scrolls the time graph (when zoomed in, never
before the comp's start or past its end) instead of moving bars, keys
or markers.

Test: spacebar_taps_preview_and_held_spacebar_pans_the_viewer,
spacebar_drag_scrolls_the_time_graph.

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 bfd1e974ea Timeline: the Time Navigator's ends drag to zoom; ; toggles frame level (#159)
The navigator drew handles on both ends but the whole bar was one drag
area that scrolled. Each end is now a handle (timeline.navigator.start /
.end) that moves that side of the visible span while the other stays:
pulled in, the ruler zooms in; stretched to the track's ends, it shows
the whole comp again. The middle still scrolls at the current zoom.

; (timeline.zoomFrameToggle) zooms in to frame level around the current
time and, pressed again, back out to the whole comp. timeline.zoomFit
stays as the plain fit command (no shortcut). Both go through set_zoom.

Tests: navigator_ends_drag_to_zoom and
semicolon_toggles_frame_level_and_the_whole_comp (real pointer drags).

bflatasticandClaude Opus 5.5 f936b1ff9c Timeline: Alt+wheel zooms out to the whole comp (#158)
Alt+wheel's zoom took its lower limit from the current zoom rather than
the comp's fit and kept the ruler's start where the pointer had put it,
so on long comps it stopped zoomed out on a slice from the middle of the
comp (0:05:02–0:10:27 of a 10-minute comp). The = / - zoom used a
different limit again.

Both now go through set_zoom: the limit is the zoom that fits the comp
(fit_pps, the same formula the ruler and the zoom slider use), and
reaching it switches the ruler back to fitting the whole comp from 0.

Test: alt_wheel_zooms_out_until_the_whole_comp_shows (real Alt+wheel
events on a 10-minute comp); it failed before (Some(1.135) px/s, start
still offset).
