project_dir rebuilt the folder with `/` and dropped a UNC share's leading
`\`, so a project opened from \server\share\Job looked for its moved
footage under the relative path server/share/Job and never found it. It now
keeps the path's own separator and its leading `/` or `\`.
The relink tests built mixed-separator paths (`…\Job/p.ecproj`) and so failed
on Windows; they now use native paths and check the separator is kept.

Clicking keyframes on Position, Rotation and Scale highlights those
properties, and Copy then added every key of a highlighted property that
had none selected, so deselected keys came back on paste. The keyframe
copy branch also left a stale value clipboard that Paste preferred over
the new keys.
Copy now takes whole animations only when no key is selected or the
Transform group is selected, and every copy branch clears the clipboards.
Also collapses a nested `if` in the STL importer into a match guard,
which Clippy 1.95 flags under -D warnings (no behaviour change).

The PDF / Illustrator import dialog now offers Composition - Retain Layer
Sizes. Each file layer's footage is cropped to its artwork bounds (fills,
stroke outlines, images, clips) and positioned to keep its place on the
page. Decoding, continuous rasterisation, shape conversion and reload share
one crop (effectcraft_pdf::layer_doc_with_sizes), so they agree.
Also collapses a match guard in the STL reader for current stable clippy.

With Warn User When Executing Files on, file.executeFile asks the
frontend first, and the frontend's answer re-runs it with
`confirmed: true`. That flag was taken from the parameters whoever
called, so a script could pass it itself (app.run('file.executeFile',
{path, confirmed: true}), also inside engine.batch) and the file opened
without the question, as long as the user had allowed file and network
access.
`confirmed` now counts only when the command isn't running for a script
(Session::running_for_script, which #590 uses for the same reason and
which stays set through nested batches). A script's request always gets
the question; the user's answer from the frontend's form still opens
the file; with the warning off nothing changes. The permission gate
itself is unchanged.
Tests: engine a_script_cannot_confirm_executing_a_file_for_itself
(execute_for_script directly and through engine.batch; the frontend's
confirmation; warning off) and the same through real JavaScript in the
script crate (app.run, app.run('engine.batch'), File.execute()). Both
fail on main.

Every layer gets the Video switch (eye) in the Timeline (nulls, cameras and lights
were excluded by an is_av() check). A selected layer whose eye is off no longer
draws its box, handles, anchor or paths in the viewer. Alt-click on an eye and
Layer > Switches > Hide Other Video now take nulls along.

A path's vertices and its two tangent arrays deserialize independently,
and nothing on load makes them agree. mask.new pads them, but a path
read from a project file may carry fewer tangents than vertices.
mask.addVertex checked its index against the vertices only and then
inserted into both tangent arrays, and mask.setVertex indexed the
tangent arrays after the same check, so either command panicked on
such a path (Vec insert/index out of bounds).
ShapePath::fit_tangents gives both arrays one entry per vertex (missing
tangents become corners, extras are dropped), and edit_path_counted
calls it on the value it edits, so every mask/shape-path vertex command
works on a consistent path. Other keyframes of an animated path were
already padded by apply_count_op when the vertex count changes.
Tests: two regression tests save a project, cut every mask path's
tangent arrays to one entry (static value and keyframes), reopen it
through Project::from_json and run setVertex and addVertex. Both panic
at mask.rs:209 without the fix.

File > Dependencies > Find Missing Fonts listed a text layer whenever
its font matched no family name, while text layout finds a font by its
family, PostScript or full name (effectcraft_text::resolve). For a
layer set to the PostScript name Inter-Bold, EffectCraft draws the text
in Inter Bold, and text.fontFeatures reports the layer's font as not
missing. Find Missing Fonts listed that layer and a layer set to the
full name Inter SemiBold.
find_missing now lists a layer when effectcraft_text::resolve, which
text layout uses for each run, reports the layer's font as missing.
fonts_named_by_their_postscript_or_full_name_are_not_missing adds text
layers in Noto Serif, Inter-Bold, Inter SemiBold and a font that no face
has, and checks that Find Missing Fonts lists only the last one.
- Cryptomatte (#1183): planes shorter than the image read as empty instead of panicking.
- layer.addMarker (#1180): a comp marker no longer replaces one at the same time.
- Desktop (#1005): ignore macOS's -psn_ argument instead of refusing to launch.
- Doc comments put back on their own items (#1153, #1037).

A single selected_layers list kept ids from every comp, so the active comp looked selected whenever another comp was. Opening a comp and running a script against a different comp now park and restore that selection.
uniform_parent_pose took the Y angle from asin, which loses precision within about 1e-6 degrees of
+-90. The Y angle now comes from atan2 on cos(Y), as the X and Z angles already do. The gimbal
branch and the principal-range output are unchanged.
A new test parents a static Orientation with Y 1e-6 degrees off gimbal lock under a uniform
parent. Its largest corner displacement was 3.3e-8 px before this change and 1.5e-14 px after.

keys.quickOffset and keys.move stored the drag's new total before the
edit ran. When the edit refused the step (keys.quickOffset with a key
landing past the end of time), the project stayed as it was but the
total kept the refused delta, and with incremental steps (merge without
fromStart) the next step moved by it too.
The drag state is now stored only after the edit applies.
Test: a_refused_step_does_not_count_towards_the_drag (+1 s, a refused
step, -1 s: the keys end where they started; fails before: the last key
ends near the end of time).
keys.move and the nudges snapped each key's destination to the nearest
frame, so moving keys a Quick Offset had staggered onto subframes put
them back on frames: four keys at 0, 1/3, 2/3 and 1 frame, moved one
frame, came out at 1, 1, 2 and 2. Layer bars kept theirs, because
layer.timing snaps the move, not the times.
The move is now rounded to whole frames and every key translated by it.
layer_shift turns a comp-time move into a layer-time move through the
layer's start and stretch (reversed too) without a round trip through
comp time; keys.quickOffset uses it as well.
Test: moving_staggered_keys_keeps_their_subframe_spacing (Quick Offset,
then keys.move and keys.nudgeForward; fails before: 1/3 frame lands on
a frame).
prop.reset cleared every keyframe before setting the default value. As in
After Effects (and as effect.reset already does for effect parameters), an
animated property now keeps its keyframes and gets the default as a key at
the current time; a static property just takes the default. The expression
is still removed.

Validate saved stroke frames against the current layer limits before clamping a span edit. Keep project and undo state intact when trimming has left strokes outside the layer.

After Effects 25.4's Quick Offset staggers selected layers, or each
layer's selected keyframes, in the order they were selected: the first
stays, the last moves by the drag and the ones between by equal steps,
landing on subframes.
layer.quickOffset {delta, layers?} moves each layer's start, in and out
point by total * i / (n - 1), worked out once in ticks with integer
arithmetic, so 1 frame over 4 layers gives 0, 1/3, 2/3 and 1 frame
exactly. keys.quickOffset {delta} does the same per layer for the
selected keys, the layers in the order their first key was selected;
every selected key of a layer, across its properties, moves by that
layer's comp-time offset through its start and stretch (reversed too),
keeping values, interpolation, easing and labels. Locked layers are
skipped and at least two layers are needed. With merge and fromStart,
delta is the whole drag and each step starts again from before it, so
the drag is one undo step and a key passed over survives. A delta or a
destination out of the range of times is an error, not a clamped move.
Docs: agents.md; architecture.md notes Quick Offset as the exception to
times snapping to frames.
