Conflict: apps/designcraft/src/main.rs: kept this branch's discard_marked_text; config_dir lives in main's profile module
Conflict: crates/ui-egui/src/canvas.rs: keys go through keyboard_pane, which takes main's rule (only the focused pane, split or second window)
