Conflicts:
- Cargo.lock: designcraft-compose depends on both unicode-script (#427)
  and unicode-segmentation (next).
- ROADMAP.md: the optical kerning progress-log line goes above next's two
  2026-10-11 lines. Status line keeps next's Last reviewed date and names
  both changes.
- docs/gaps.md, docs/typography-parity.md: same status-line merge.
