Share duplicate file data while keeping distinct link paths independent, and leave unused assets out of saved documents. Validation: all six cargo xtask ci gates passed on the merge candidate; 1,170 native tests passed and all 15 WASM packages checked. Independent regression checks cover updates, relinking, embedding, undo and save/reopen. Task: #420
