aiongg 814153ba62 Merge #580: feat(desktop): portable mode, portable.txt next to the executable (#574)
Conflict: apps/designcraft/src/profile.rs: recovery_dir takes the PR's root_with (config override, else portable folder) and keeps next's .map(own_run) and own_run
Conflict: README.md: the PR's Portable mode section, then next's Graphics backend and processor section

Marco Arnulfo 4acd5ba43c feat(desktop): portable mode, portable.txt next to the executable (#574)
A file named portable.txt beside the executable keeps settings, logs,
the GPU start-up record and crash recovery in a DesignCraftData folder
next to it instead of the per-user folders, as PhotoCraft and FilmCraft
do. A folder of that name is not a marker. DESIGNCRAFT_CONFIG_DIR still
wins, empty or not. The Windows portable zip now ships portable.txt;
the MSI and the macOS app bundle don't, so nothing changes there.

aiongg 11532d961e Documents: Save adds .designcraft, and the OS opens DesignCraft and IDML files
- file.save / file.saveAs / file.saveACopy add the .designcraft extension to a
given path that lacks it and report the path written; saving back to the
document's own file keeps its name.
- file.open tells DesignCraft and IDML packages apart by content, so files
without an extension open; anything else is "not a DesignCraft or IDML file".
- Dropped or web-picked files without an extension open as documents when their
  content is one.
- Desktop save dialogs filter on the suggested extension and add it to a name
typed without it, asking before replacing an existing file; the open dialog
  gains "All files".
- macOS: open-documents Apple events (Finder, Dock, Open With) through
fmv-macos-events, queued until the window is ready; Info.plist declares the
.designcraft type and an imported .idml type with CFBundleDocumentTypes.
- Windows MSI: .designcraft ProgId with an Open verb, IDML under Open with.
- Linux: shared-mime-info for both types and MimeType in the .desktop file.

Brandon ThomasandClaude Opus 5.5 a6519d8a55 Fonts: use craft-fonts as an optional build input; move the Japanese fonts out
Shippori Mincho (8.7 MB) and its licence leave assets/fonts. Japanese fonts now
come from storytold/craft-fonts when built with CRAFT_FONTS_DIR (never a
Cargo.toml dependency): crates/fonts/build.rs embeds its manifest as
designcraft_fonts::CRAFT_FONTS. Native builds embed all four fonts; wasm32
embeds BIZ UDPGothic Regular only (web size budget).

- UI (egui): the Jpan faces at the end of every family, BIZ UDPGothic first
(Bold first in the semibold family).
- Documents: FontDb loads them after the bundled fonts, Mincho first, so they
are the Japanese fallback ahead of system fonts; SVG text gets them too.
- Vertical alternates test runs on every craft-fonts face and skips when
CRAFT_FONTS is empty; new UI no-tofu test and without-craft-fonts tests.
- FreeBSD CI tests with craft-fonts; release.yml builds every platform with
  CRAFT_FONTS_DIR + CRAFT_FONTS_REQUIRED=1 at a pinned commit, packages carry
  OFL-<family>.txt; NOTICE, ASSETS.md, AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md, README, ROADMAP.

Brandon ThomasandClaude Opus 5.5 724d2cb86f Windows on ARM64: release builds, PE header check, install test on ARM64 hardware
Release builds add an arm64 MSI and portable zip, cross-compiled on the x64
runner (signing and WiX as for x64). package.ps1 checks each binary's PE
header before packaging: Machine must match -Arch, the app must be a GUI
program and the CLI a console program. It skips the CLI smoke run when an
ARM64 build can't run on the host. A new Windows ARM64 workflow packages the
ARM64 MSI, installs it on a Windows 11 ARM64 runner, checks both installed
exes are ARM64, runs the CLI, and uninstalls. Ported from printcraft#66.

Brandon ThomasandClaude Opus 5.5 60de09f1bb Windows packaging: Start Menu/Add-Remove icon, no console window, correct description
The MSI Icon id had no .ico/.exe extension, which Windows Installer needs for
advertised shortcuts and ARPPRODUCTICON, so both showed a blank icon. Release
builds of the desktop app are now GUI-subsystem (no console window; the CLI stays
a console program), the shortcut/summary description names what DesignCraft does, and
packaging-lint rejects an Icon id without an extension. Found in printcraft#57.

Brandon ThomasandClaude Opus 4.8 fe02bca705 Signed release pipeline (macOS/Windows/Linux/Web); README community note
Ports photocraft's release workflow + packaging (signing, notarization,
MSI/DMG/deb/rpm/AppImage/web), adds `cargo xtask version`. File-type
associations omitted (route B); app keeps its own .desktop. Fresh WiX
UpgradeCode. README 'about' note updated.
