Will f119610287 fix(ui): keep cursors visible over layout backgrounds (#1733) ...

Choose crosshair and pickbox ink from the painted paper or surround
under the pointer, including while editing through a layout viewport.
Reuse the existing contrast rule and preserve model-space appearance.

Add paint-output regression tests for backgrounds, navigation,
space changes, and isometric and full-screen cursors.

Fixes #1685.
